RandolphWORC is funded, in part, from a Department of Labor Grant though September 2022. The goal of this pilot program is to increase access to training programs for those who are first time job seekers, those under-employed, displaced workers, and those who will be leaving a corrections institute and will be entering the workforce.
Prior to the grant being awarded, several business and community members gathered for many months to talk about this grant opportunity and what it could mean for Randolph County. Randolph County Housing Authority was one of only 10 grant recipients, out of the over 120 applications.
RandolphWORC provides 100% free employment coaching to West Virginia residents in Randolph, Tucker, Upshur, Lewis, Barbour, and Webster Counties. RandolphWORC also works in conjunction with our other vocational training programs to offer additional employment resources to our clients.

"By providing hope and opportunity, we are allowing our clients to expand beyond what they believed they were capable of doing and allowing them to reach for their dreams. By giving them hope and opportunity, we are lifting individuals up from where they were to allow them to begin that march towards a greater career path and further success down the road.”
